Minutes of the regular meeting of the West Liberty Business Association Board held on November 8, 2007 at 7:45 AM at the Gathering Place.

Present were Bob Rabenstein, Cindy Oelker, Mark Nelson, Ann Morrow, Steve Mast, Kathy Lowry and Julie McIntosh representing the Promotion Committee.

The minutes of the previous meeting held on October 4, 2007, that had previously been sent to each member, were approved as sent.

Julie McIntosh reviewed the minutes of the Promotion Committee held on November 6, 2007, which are attached to and made a part of these minutes. Julie asked that the Board approve getting the Kettle Corn Group for Christmas in the Village and also having Steve with his grapevine trees and wreaths. The Promotion Committee would like to find a volunteer to be an “Events Coordinator” because it has come down to the same few people always doing the work and they are simply getting “burned out”.

By unanimous agreement the Board supported Julie McIntosh’s request to have the Kettle Corn Group and Steve’s grapevine and wreath display at the Christmas in the Village.

The Treasurer’s report was given. A copy is attached to and made a part of these minutes. The final report for Labor Day is income of $4,328.00 and expenses of $3,057.87 for a net profit of $1,270.13. Mark moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report and Steve seconded the motion. Report was unanimously approved.

Kathy reviewed the schedule for Christmas in the Village on 11-23-07. Kathy will try to find someone to trim the trees down town. Cindy reported that Charlie McClain has agreed to be the Grand Marshall for the parade. Everything appears to be taken care of.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, December 6, 2007, at 7:45 AM at the Gathering Place.

Respectfully,

Stephen H. Mast, Secretary
