Minutes of the regular meeting of the West Liberty Business
Association Board held on
Present were Kathy Lowry, Steve Mast, Ann Morrow, Mark Nelson, Cindy Oelker & Bob Rabenstein.

Kathy reported on the Promotion Committee.
Currently have 2 musical groups and trying to get 1 or 2 more
Currently have 10 vendors and expecting 4 or 5 more
½ page ad in Urbana Citizen in color - $359.00
½ page ad in the Bellefontaine Examiner – not sure of cost yet
Kiss Country package - $75.00
50 small signs to be printed by Jerry VanHorn - $390.00
It is the opinion of the Promotion Committee that the Autumn Fest has to be promoted more and grow in size or it will probably be best to terminate the activity
Kathy regretfully reported that Blackberry Ridge is leaving as the building has sold and the new owners have different ideas on the use of the building.

Kathy asked for an allocation to be made for the Autumn Fest in the amount of $1,500.00. Steve Mast moved that $1,500.00 be allocated for the Autumn Fest. Ann Morrow seconded the motion and all present voted yes.
Bob Rabenstein gave the Treasurer’s Report. As of today the net profit from the Labor Day Pork Dinner is $779.23. The net income for year to date is -$779.23 leaving a balance on hand of $7,398.96.
Kathy reminded everyone of our decision at the last meeting to cancel the fall meetings of the Business Association and have only 1 meeting a year to be held in the spring.

A brief discussion of Christmas in the Village followed. It
will be on the Friday after Thanksgiving as in the past. Bob Rabenstein will
again be in charge of the ham & beans and Cindy Oelker
will take care of the cornbread. They will be served at the Firehouse. Mark
Nelson will be in charge of the luminaries and also the greens & bows on
the poles downtown. Several ideas for a Grand Marshall were shared. A decision
will be made at the next meeting on
