Mr. Harrison reported Rawdon Meyers technician is scheduled for a service
call on the controls at the booster station tomorrow. The Magnetrol unit
has a stable reading but the reading on the Aquatrol controls varies up
and down about 5-6’. Mr. Harrison left a message with the adjustor for
Westfield Insurance that we have received a bill but may have an
additional problem.
Carter Excavating replaced the fire hydrant at the corner of Baird and
Washington Streets Monday 8/27. After the back fill has settled they
will return to re-seed the area. We issued a Boil Alert Friday to take
effect on Monday and the sets of samples came back negative and we lifted
the boil alert Wednesday.
Mr. King asked about the report Jones and Henry Engineering gave to the
Board members at the last meeting.
It was discussed that a 30 X 30 building built in the amount of $57000.00
was not needed and a grit removal in the amount of $88,000.00 was in
question. Jones and Henry will be back to answer questions before this
needs to be turned in to EPA.
Mr. King asked about the cement dumped at the creek on Sidney St. Mr.
Harrison said there is more than what he needed and will be getting rid
of the remainder not used. Mr. King is concerned with who will pay for
the hauling away and feels Mr. Williams needs to haul it away.
A MOTION was made by Mr. Faulkner seconded by Mr. Smith to adjourn at
8:29 PM.
Motion carried.
